BEGINNING LEVEL PROGRAM

A beginning level program that helps introduce the game of futsal to players ages 8 and older, boys and girls.

Through activities and games, players will begin to understand the concept of how the game is played, and focus on developing the basic fundamentals.

In addition, the FDP Rec emphasizes on players participating as much as possible to maximize their involvement in the game for better development, encouraging creativity, helping foster a passion for the game, and improving coordination, all while participating in a safe and fun learning environment.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The FDP Rec Program is for boys and girls ages 8 and older.
Players are new (no experience) or have little experience playing the game.

WHAT DO PLAYERS LEARN?

Players in the program will learn the basic fundamentals and concept of how to play the game.

Ball Mastery
Dribbling | 1 v 1
Passing Fundamentals
Introduction to proper Attacking
Introduction to proper Defending
Playing several short-sided games (2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5)

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM OFFER?

The program offers two sessions per week: one training and one league game.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

All players are required to have the FULL PROGRAM GEAR KIT
Players are able to wear futsal shoes or tennis shoes
Players must have shin guards
